weight gain shakes? or eat shit loads
You need to read up on these things first. There's tons of information out there. Just asking a forum "Any tips?" will yield nothing since you're not providing us with anything to work from.
Do it over, do it right!

well :S like ifyou want to gain weight stop burning as much calories eg stop swimming lol
but if u still wanna stay in shape like inside your body by doing swimming and cardio stuff then your just going to have to eat even MORE to get back the calories you burned and then to add extra calories on so that you can gain some weight
I could probably not eat for a month and still be over 125 pounds, and I'm 5'8"

5'8" 125lbs? Dude, eat everything in sight. Eat 10 times a day. At least.

17.6 is good? Consume more calories than you burn daily.

I am your height, and began bulking around your weight (slightly heavier, but not by much. I am currently maintaining at about 173 since food is scarce at the moment...as tho you gave a shit). So my advice to you is to log your calories. Seriously.
I tried eating more, eating healthy, whatever whatever nevermind all that shit...
I believe the fastest way people like you and I can gain weight is to log every calorie we eat, every single day. If you choose to do so, begin by eating your bodyweight in pounds multiplied by 21 in calories. For you that would be about 2600 calories every single day.
This is best achieved by eating at least 6 times a day (also record the time at which you eat your meals, so that you know to eat every 2-3 hours).
My recomendation as far as training goes would depend on your exact goals, but if you are just looking to gain some weight then I'd say just the standard weightlifting 4-5 days a week with progressively heavier load on the big lifts you choose, and a high enough volume to stimulate muscle growth.
Note: A slight gain in fat is necessary, however... you could essentially gain 5lbs every 4 weeks without changing your bodyfat percentage. Give it 6 months and you will then be at 155lbs -- pretty good weight for tricking, and you would be markedly stronger.
I'm not really gonna go into much detail because frankly most people just don't have the balls to really dedicate themselevs and even log their calories in the first place. Those people usually stay skinny.

Hey there,
I've been working for the past... err 5 months or so on working out a doable workout plan / diet to help me gain weight. I was 6'5 and 170lbs and since I've actually started with this diet and exercise regiment about 3 weeks ago I've gained 15lbs of muscle.
It's a great feeling and basically all I've done is eat a LOT of healthy, calorie rich foods.
The centerpiece to this has been a book called "Scrawny to Brawny" that is written by some guy that Juji links to on one of the nutrition sections. It's sweet and has loads of workout plans, and meal plans, etc.
It's basically a 14 week program to get you into the right shape and mind to gain weight.
If you don't want the book though, just eat many small meals during the day to slow down your metabolism and keep it constantly working. Eat protein and simple carbs before, during and after your workout and when working out don't sit around and do 1 million bicep curls or small, localized exercises like that, but rather do BIG! HUGE! COMPOUND ones. Like squats, military presses, deadlifts and bench work along with many chinups, dips, and other support exercises.
If you do all of this you'll pretty much be set I figure... It seems to be working for me and I really don't know when I last gained weight ever aside from when I grew into the giant thin stick that I am.
Hope that helps
Your metabolism does not slow down even if you only eat two meals a day. Calories in - calories out = fat loss/gain/stasis. How much fat you gain depends largely on your intake of macronutrients and genes.

How does being new to tricking have anything to do with your weight?
You're making it sound like you need more weight to become a better trickster haha.

hahah you don't need to gain weight to trick, quite the opposite ussually. I'd just eat a reasonable amount of protien and start doing a shitton of body weight excercises
you dont have to gain weight, sure. but if you want to look like juji and trick / if you want more muscle as well then you should probably try gaining lean a lot of lean mass.
