I have about 6% body fat but the bottom two dont show so much, and im trying to make my abs bigger (not tone them). What can i do, preferably at home, to get them that way? Should i cut workout days to every other day instead of every day if im doing high intensity?
thanks in advance guys.

well after volleyball practice i got to the weight room.
first i dooo:
pull ups with 15 pounds - 10 - 8 - 6
then i hold a 25 pound plate on my thigh and keep my leg extended on the dip thing.... like your doing leg lifts except you keep your leg out. sets of 3 for 20 to 30 seconds....
thats about it.
try branling. i have a nice sixpack even though the only excercise i do is branling.
Deadlifts are really what make you grow. You could squat as well. You might want to try some static exercises for abs or shock them some other way. Might give you that bit of growth you want.

True branleurs can go for days.

enough nonsense, i need real advice lol.
Like I said, you might want to try shocking them.
but...
branling is just what you need, branleh.
if you dont like branling, try running.

i hate running more than i hate branling.
do deadlifts reall work? im thinkin they only work your back and legs.
If anything, running would cause muscle catabolism which would make them smaller haha.
EDIT: Deadlifts work your whole body. They're good for abs because the abs stablize the body during the whole lift. Other than that, they work every muscle at different levels.

ho ho ho
running doesnt make them smaller, branleh. in fact, it has almost the same impact on abs as deadlifting.
if you really want to get bigger abs, start using steroids.
How do you figure? Running would be considered an endurance exercise. Deadlifts build explosive power. Plus the cardio from running would cause muscle catabolism (assuming you're in a caloric deficiency), resulting in the muscles being used for fuel. A.K.A. eaten.

If you have to ask this question you have little business trying to get larger abs.

why does everyone have to judge me =[

yeah... and i am recommending steroids seriously...
the only part of my message where i was serious is that running doesnt make abs smaller.

Shrugs would be pretty good.
I might suggest trying them behind the back though to get the asymmetrical loading.

No actually they don't work the traps at all. That's a bodybuilding myth. Go with shrugs or go home.

Don't take it personally generalbbb.
These guys are trying to deceive you into ineffective training methods, so that they can continue to excel ahead of you. If they handed out all their knowledge freely, then they would have to compete against others with the right knowledge.
This could lead to their failure, so to secure success they have chosen to misguide you in your quest for large abdominals.
The real secret to maximising hypertrophy in the rectus abdominus is actually upright rows. But keep that on the 'down low'.

Good job compleks (but not really).
The third and fourth page contained some quality TT stuff. The first and second were horrible.
Sorry guys but I'm breaking the chain here:
If you want visible abs you have to do one of two things: Lose fat or build muscle. One cannot happen simaltenously with the other so you'll have to choose. Not getting contact in deadlifts is a pretty good indication of how seriously one regards those types of exercises. Deadlifts and squats should not be regarded as abs exercises, true that they work as stabilizers throughout the exercise but there are better exercises.
If you want to gain muscle you have to gain weight and that means gaining bodyfat. And stop using the word muscle tone in the wrong context! Muscle tone refers to a tensed muscle and not defined muscularity.
A good abs exercise would be bent over barbell rows.

As for lower abs, leg raises would be a good start.
