What do you think? I wouldn't recommend a cheat month unless you absolutely had too. I say don't do it unless your metabolism is very fast. XD

Haha, most people cheat all year. But then again, most people are pathetic slobs.
I definitely would not advice eating junk for an entire month, but I'm not your mother.
You'll deteriorate for sure haha. But if you want to...

i cheat like every 3 days, but lately my cheating is like "ooh, i guess i can have a fig bar" instead of "yeaaa i'll buy 3 things of candy"

More like "yeaaa I'll down a lot of alcohol."
A cheat month? Go for it, if you want to destroy all gains you've made, haha. Learn to enjoy eating the foods you have to eat to maintain your physique.

You'd pretty much be a complete failure.
No. Choose one day of the week or every two weeks to cheat instead. Those cheats should still count in towards your end goal whatever it may be.

Most bodybuilders eat junk food as a part of their regular bulking diet.

Big Macs and pizza and doughnuts, etc.. can't really be considered "junk food" when you are trying to put on weight, because they actually will contribute greatly to your gains in the long run.

Actually, they are still junk food. 'Junk,' I believe, refers to the overall nutrient density of the food.
I prefer my body stays healthy in the long run. Eating clean food has numerous benefits over junk food so I guess if you have the time and motivation to cook, then cook. One should always be able to handle cooking business in the kitchen.

I can cook everything I need. The reason I eat doughnuts and McDonalds is a FINANCIAL one. haha
And no, Anfeyd, "junk" means useless... in this case, they are not useless. What do I consider junk food? Potato chips, and soda. But that is just me personally....

I'm curious because I don't think I've ever asked you that before.

Why? Potato chips and soda have plenty of calories. You could replace all your water intake with soda and easily add 500calories a day.
Anyway, everyone has a different deffinition of what is 'junk food' is. It also depends on your priorities, and whether you place more value on adding weight, or keeping your diet as clean as possible.

You must be joking.

Maybe not 'most'. But lots do.

Oh yes that's right, body builders are the epitome of health and fitness, there's no way they could possibly be eating cheap, calorie-dense food, totally illogical
Also the rest of you might as well stop replying because almost all of pete's posts are piss takes.

People are like... OMGzZ chocolate!:dead: as if it was a deadly sin. You're trickers, you're gonna burn it off, it's energy not naked tricking.
It's cheating when you have food with 80% sat fat etc... E numbers, sweeteners blaaa. You won't want that after you've gone healthy for a while anyway.
