i was gonna install a pull up bar on my doorway and i was wondering if there's gonna be a problem doing it with the bar slightly uneven as it its slanted the slightest. like 1 side is about 1mm lower then the other.
thanx

I also have a doormounted pullup-bar and it is also slightly slanted, probably caused by using it. I don't think it really matters...

Keep an even number of sets and alternate which side you do them on.

1mm.... i thought you meant like a foot lower... in that case youd probably end up rather asymmetrical.

As Anfeyd said. Training both side would be ideal, not to mention great. Uneven pullups are a great way to achieving a one-handed pullup, since one arm has a greater workload than the other.

Can you tell the bar is uneven just by looking at it?
1mm would not be enough to make a difference. But anyway, just change up sides if you are concerned.

anfeyd is right, just face both directions on alternating sets, though really 1mm wouldn't make a bit of difference. I'm sure mine is slightly off too.
Honestly the real bitch with doing chins in your door is if you keep rotten clothes behind your door like I do it won't open all the way and then you accidentally kick it when you initially jump onto the bar and it wakes everyone up.
