No. Only your lower body is affected by your diet, so you can fuck up your diet all you want and your upper body won't be affected!

Yeah it will be, it's just that the muscles are differents. For the legs it takes much more than the arms to grow because it's two different type and size of muscles!

Diet affects everything. The arms are smaller though so you wouldn't need as much food to grow them as the legs. On the other hand, it also means there's that much less to play games with meaning it's probably easier to lose when you starve, unlike the legs which have lots of amino acids. That's probably why the 'squat for arms' thing comes about. Besides the whole lactic acid>GH thing, of course, the amino acid reserves :)

As in, if you had big legs, as long as you train your arms harder then even if there wasn't enough protein, it could steal some from your legs.

Craig, dieting only affects your internal organs. Your muscles get bigger by conditioning them, like rolling steel pipes over them and punching walls and stuff. I know this because I can bench press over 200 (!) lbs.

I just benched yesterday. I benched 25 lbs on each side of the bar!! I don't know what that totals, but that's a new PR for me!
