oh wow that was essentially realllly fucking sick haha i mean the start was a little ... trapolined but he got two steps then two flips. Thats a relaly good way to work it.
I always imagined another way would be to have either a hard mat you could run across in a pit, or a pit mat on ground and 3-4 sturdy freinds. Essentially they'd move the mat into or out of position while you were on the wall so you could get a good start then fall to safety.
On a sidenote, his frustration on missing that last bar trick was fantastic

Double wallflips have been landed before, theres just never been one on tape to prove it. I remember I used to talk to someone from a freerunning forum I go on, and he kept telling me about how some guy at his gym who was an ex gymnast had landed one

I have landed a double wallflip, but my camera was devoured by a racoon just before i taped it so therre is no proof.
do you believe me ?

you being a racoon is more believable than a double wallflip on normal ground

Knowing you matt...
If munks was the racoon, then ofcourse I believe it.
There's no reason why the move couldn't be landed though, I've seen and know plenty of people who can one step wallflip well above head height, and their two steps soar. I've seen 4 step wallflip 360s (i'll show you a video if you wish) and the height the dude gets on it would make it very possible for the move to be landed.
well yeah, if ppl are gettin close to standing double backs...then a wall flip will eaily give em enough height to get it...
tricking evolution!

This is like...the first ever recorded attempt

Charlie Tamayo has very cleanly landed a standing double backflip, I don't care what anyone says, the height difference is like 2 inchs and he lands fully standing up.
There hasn't been a landed one on hard surfaces though, I know dovicka posted up an attempt of some dude who tried it on wooden floor with just a crash mat behind him
Well I guess that defeats my scheme to be the first to do double wallflips (I don't care if Kieran said he did them or not, VIDS OR IT DIDN'T HAPPEN). I wasn't going to do it anyways since double wallflips are fucking scary and any way that I could do it into a pit or a mat would be awkward and lack momentum anyways.
I mean
Yeah I landed it and this guy I know who was a ex-Soviet gymnast used to be able to land wallflip triple backs onto his knees, but my camera was devoured by Munks the Raccoon before I could upload it on youtube.
Yeah.
