Well, whatever it's called, I've been inspired by a tricking buddy (Gene :-D) and KJER to learn this for comboing.
So, can someone break this down for me. Is it like a jackknife that technically doesn't leave the ground? What are the movements for this?

Isn't a narabong like when you swingthrough kicks?

Well, KJER's avatar is a great demonstration.
I'm starting to buckle down on kicks again for the first time in a while, and this is a wonderful link move.

im actually interested in hearing about this too dan, hopefully sessh or someone else experienced can help us out
its basically a 720 on the ground.
1.start in a fighting stancing
2.turn and raise your knee, similar to if you were doing a tornado..but no lifting.
3. switch knees, so you raise your other knee into the air.(the knee switches arent generally meant to be high from a martial arts aspect, their meant to confuse cause you fake out your opponent with the knees, also the switch is very quick.)
4.as you place the knee u just put up on the floor, turn and hook, bang you just did an autobhan. the placeing of the foot down and the turning should happen about the same time.
heres an example of bubba doing it with a sidekick variation.

now Ambitrixterous, does a variation of the autobahn, he'd have to explain that one to you..he does it in an exampler for his jacknife tutorial.

It's a tornado kick, but as soon as the non-kicking leg touches the ground you spring off of it into a hook/crescent kick.
It could be seen as a Tornado missleg hook/crescent.

Hmmm... maybe I have been doing this right after all.
:wise: *strokes chin*
yeah cicero's method is the easiest way of learning.
great little move, when done correctly, and awesome fun in combos :good: fun to come up with creative things with it too

ok here his the way jester CA and bubba told me to do it.
1. a spin round kick
2. once the round shoots out quickly hop onto the same leg u just kicked with (staying low to the ground during this whole trasition)
3. once the rounding leg touchs the ground throw a qucik snapy hook kick.
THERE IS NO JUMPING INVOLED, no need to jump like a tornado just stick to low fast hops.
hope this helps

it's an easy move
things you need
-tornado kick ( with a round kick)
- and a hook/wheel kick
this is mine: http://video.google.nl/videouploadfinished?docid=-6310392226341677429&cid=c3c77bb533b081d2
you can fist try to do a tornado kick without the kick and then just jump into the hook kick
you can start jumping into the hook kick with a chambered leg and kick when your landing foot is allready on the floor
one you can do that good you can start throwing the kick out in mid air :)
if you need more tips, ask

In tricking, there are several versions of Narabogs/Autobahns...some hit twice, some hit 3 times, and some hit 4 times.

a cheat900 to hook is exactly what Matt Emig does quite a few times in his last Bilang sampler. The one he does at 00:42 is the most visible one, I'd say.
But i've never seen the 3 or 4 hit variations :/
