Hey guys!

Some of you may already know that I'm not much of a tumbler and would like some advice on how I can improve my backhandspring and backtuck!

Thanks in advance!

With your bhs try make sure your arms are totally straight, and also make sure your feet aren't trailing so much. You go back a nice distance for some good tumbling, but from standing it can make it a bit slow. Try it from a roundoff as it's really nice, (Or just plant your hands closer to where you are standing)

In regards to the backtuck...

Don't look back
Don't jump back
Extend
Stall the tuck, this happens better when you jump up
The flip is very low (this can be corrected by doing the above)
Tuck tighter (Maybe tuck using your knees not your thighs)
Tuck really fast
Put some speed and power in the flip

I guarantee you if you do all those at once properly, you'll overrotate and land on your neck. (Unless you untuck with good time)
