Ok, so yesterday i landed a scoot-moonkick or whatever its name is.. It didn't look so pretty, but at least you could see what it was.. First trick here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrB97W1wz9o

And the thing thats wrong is: I cant do a moonkick if i do a J-step..I always do a straight gainer and land on my knees.. So, anyone got some tips?.. If i'm wrong with the name, please tell me what it should be.

looks more like a (a non tucked)gainer with a tiny bit of turn rather than a moon kick lol :S

this video confuses me lol :S because u landed 2 foot and go straight over until like right at the end where u turn a bit lol

LoopingDragon, I just noticed on your avatar that if you threw your arms up a little harder and threw them up all the way, you could get higher.

Na, there's little to be gained in throwing his arms that slight bit higher. The angle at which he hits the ground is where the most optimization lies.

Of course throwing his arms a little higher wouldn't hurt. :P

There isn't really a 'cheat' gainer.

Here is a good moonkick (tut): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bx-48n7rIaA

2 Dragonfly:
That's a Slant Gainer, Moonkick is a Slant Gainer followed by a Hook kick

cheat gainers are some bull shit term.

the one time i've seen it used is a tutorial one of the guys on eigos team made, it's basically a slant gainer that doesn't invert at all.

but fuck that.
