I was wondering this. Say you're really sore in one area of your body I dunno your legs or whatever.
If you wanted to be able to train within the next couple days (basically meaning this soreness gets healed), would it hinder your recovery if you did a regular lift routine say with your upper body. Basically just doing your exercises not including the muscles already sore.
It seems like doing so would hinder one or the other or both since your body needs nutrients and energy to heal and to create new muscle. But I'm not really an expert, so I'm curious to if you guys think this hypothesis is right or wrong.
