Can you parafuso well?
if you were asking me...no because my legs are never together, they're always about a foot apart but i can jacknife.

sorry but i dont see it happening, well not properly, if u cant parafuso :S
i think this trick is loads harder than most people think it is, like i tend to get the rotation for this on a normal parafuso but doing that and then throwing out a hook :/ its just really hard. All about timing i think and quick rotation, its still really hard though :S, anyone got tips on the trick in general?

switchblade is harder than it looks..
haha I've tried it once, fell after the hook came out, which was low and lame.

this is wrong!!! a switchblade is NOT a parafuso hyper hook..it is a cheat360front-hook, or a crowdawakener hook. it's a jackknife variation!

Switchblade = Parafuso Hook...it's basically a Dleg Hook with a "cheat" set-up.

I could do them when my parafuso's were better...But my attempts were weak and ugly...didn't bother practicing them anymore..they are hard :-/

you could say hard, or you could say technical. If you have a good jack knife they could be easy. It's just a matter of timing. At least that's with my experience.

:: This true too ::
Allow me to retort: back in the day [1999-2001] a "Switchblade" was known as a "Jacknife-triple". It was basically a "Cheat Feilong" with an added spin hook. The move was a step up from the usual Jacknife, but the only people doing them were David Douglas, Anthony Atkins, and Carmicheal Simon. Due to this, the trick as a whole became lost [cause not even they did it alot].
Now-a-days, the Switchblade is a "Parafuso Hook".

hey sessh, when attempting a switchblade do you have to keep toquring your upper body around till the hook is coming out? just like 540 and c720, doing the 540 you stop your upper body rotation for a split second so the kick comes around but in the c720 you keep your body torquing till the hook is out. same with switchblade?

Nah, there is a noticible little stall before the hook comes out. The spin isn't a consistant turn around into the kicks.
