well my 540 kick is a 540 kick but a very bad and sloppy and bad technique one. i just want you guys to critique me and tell me what i can improve on. or just keep drilling is a usualy answer but i want some thing more in depth. i dont know if the hyper leg has to be straight or bent or what. and i think my arms look a little wierd too. also do i have to stall a little until i see my target or do i just try to kick really hard to reach it before my body is turn to looking at the target? thanks and have a good night!

throw your non-kicking leg higher and pull harder with your arms. Then it'll be good:good:

You should be traveling side to side not forwards. Check TKD Andys 540 tut and copy his 2nd 540 he does. It's good!

side to side? i thought traveling was a bad thing for a 540......and where do you get tkd andy's 540 video tutorial, i have seen his written one but never the video if any one has it i would love if they posted it up

a 540 should land in the same place you started
you have to jump UP and kick over

you DO NOT have to jump to the side or anyting else

the setup is to the side but that's about it

you throw your non kicking leg and you focus on going up and stay in the that position.

thanks for all the help guys.....i will try to post another video of my 540 again with all your tips in mind
