when you are trying to get rotation for the spin you are kicking your legs behind you, this is putting you off balance and making you fall over. Try heep your legs straight when you spin, keep your chest up and push up into the spin (ie go up, don't travel).

Well actually, try just jumping high from two feet with a pop setup. Then, start adding small spins. If you can jump straight up you shouldnt have a problem adding a 360 at least to it. Hope i elped.

also with pop tricks try spotting your target.
So lets say you are kicking in front of where you are facing, turn 90 degrees to the left so thatyour right hand side is facing the target (you should be facing it too). As you take off try to spin left to face the target as fast as possable, then hold the rotation and spin an additional rotation tospot your target again. In pop tricks this is when you should be kicking.

my friend has the same problem, dw its more than normal =p It wasn't allways that way, I actually used to be pretty good at standing vertical spins, I could get almost get a 1080 rotation from standing a long time ago. Then I learned b-twists, got used to them, and my vertical spins have looked this way ever since.

Um...

Try jumping and spinning more. You're not even making the rotation. You're not even getting enough height to make the rotation.

Jump up and spin, forget about kicking for the moment.

Maybe, when you can spin upright, go back to your 360 crescent and work that until it's amazing. This will give you some idea of how the kick should come out.

brilliat, did my advice help?

try not to rush the spin, try and float it up to make the most of your height. then focus on spinning fast after. A great improvement none the less
