You land with your body very low, which would make it harder to do things out of it.

You're not setting your arms up at all. The takeoff is very similar to a front tuck, you should get your elbows up by your head and throw your hands over, then drop one arm down faster to get the twist going. Once your arms are working to your advantage, you should get the height you need to do things out of it.

??????????

anyway.....you must jump harder with your take-off leg...from what I can see your take off is a lil' bit effortless......and also lift you back leg up very hard...this will give you speed, height and power....put more effort in the whole move! this is my opinion....hope i helped....

EDIT: oh! and also try to put more effort in the run-up and make a higher hop before the move....it gives you really more momentum trust me ;-)

don't move your upper body at all. Just power it all over with your legs. this technique gets aerials brandies and websters about shoulder height. it takes some explosive power but it works....

also step as far forward as far as you can on take off (your legs should be split really far apart)

ok thanks for some tips, i'll try them out! :)

and if you really need to do the high hop before take-off... then how d fck people do them without a runup after the axe kick??? :S

Because the hop step is for a barani, not a brandy, and I refuse to let that debate start again. For a brandy the takeoff is not at all like a front tuck, it is like a running aerial. For a barani, you take off like a front tuck. Voila, no more discussing this!

you aren't lifting your leg

yea, you do it kinda like a barani

you have to lift that leg up high before you leave the ground.
