Do you guys take any mineral supplements? Or do you see to that you reach good levels in your diet?

What minerals do you take if you take them as supplements?

What brands do you choose? Like for Magnesium, Calcium, Zinc, Chromium etc...


Just curious.

Need to buy new ones now, normally I take a combination of multivits and minerals.

Karlnold, try Mivi Total, liquid and tastes rancid but it contains pretty much everything.

I use a regular vitamin/mineral pill. The lvls are pretty low but fits me well at the moment. I take additional vitamin c along with the sleep stack when I'm bulking.

I'd like to take multivitamins/minerals but they all contain iron, which I'm probably in excess of already, or are too expensive. I took 4 a day for a while. The only minerals I currently take are Zinc and also Magnesium if I have any. I add rock salt to my food a lot, which is like 15% other minerals than NaCl.

Be sure to buy a form of mineral which has good absorption. Things like MgO are about as soluble as concrete and so are pretty useless - go for citrates and malates, and others.

I take ZMA, it improves my sleep quality. I try to ensure I get adequate amounts from my diet anyway.

I supplement with those tiny little rocks you find on the road.

Do they taste as good as they look?

I just take multi-vitamins and have ZMA. I'm saving the ZMA until I join my new gym so during my sleep my testosterone levels increase helping me train harder, blah, blah.. you all know about the stuff.
