double aerial twist= 540 turn. true aerial twist.

i don't truly believe i have done a double until i land a 900 aerial twist.

i've been working on regular atwists for a while now, but i have a hard time twisting. my btwists are high (i don't know if atwist and btwists are really related), and my aerials are pretty good. i can also btwist from aerial setup, but only from standing (not from a runup somehow). but when i try atwists i usually just btwist from aerial setup, or webster (wtf?), or twist really slow. this move is confusing the hell out of my body. do you have any tips for making the twist come out easier pete?

don't dip your torso down like you would normally do in an aerial and twist with your shoulders not your arms. forget everything you've learnt about the aerial and try this.

when i was learning atwists i was accidentilly doing doubles thinking they where singles.... Dave was like OMGZ TEH DOUBLE ATWISTZORZ!!!!!! and i was like WHAT'S THE DEAL MANG isn't that what an atwist is?!?!?!?!!!!!?!?!?!?!

so i tried actual singles later in that session and felt like i was forcing myself not to spin so much... in other words holding back. i didn't like how they felt so i stuck to doubles. i landed my first try on a solid surface, didn't care whatsoever and said NEXT!!! (of course this was after much deliberation and being a pussy about it).
