Alright alright, to the point... I don't know whether this suggestion has been brought up before - but would it be a good idea to have an "Introductions" section in the forum where newbe members can post their first posts just briefly going through who they are?

(Or are we going with the "just post like you're a part of the family straight away" motif?)

an introduction section isnt a bad idea, it'd be nice to have a place to start posting. i doubt many people would visit that forum but it would still let someone new 'break the ice', if they are worried about saying hello in the wrong section or something.
