Shuriken Twist - illusion twist landing on kicking leg, basically a btwist with an outside crescent kick done with the take-off leg
Pop Swipe - sideswipe with pop setup (off two legs)
Flik Flak -
Touchdown Raiz -
One - Hand Cheat 720 -
Feilong Cross - feilong but instead of outside+inside crescent you do a hook+round i believe
Arashiswipe - extended scoot with a switch
Shaolin Cross -
Spiral Knuckle -

Sessh had the rar archive called "That other shit" that had video demonstrations of a lot of the stuff you listed. I'll send it your way.
Notice how all the terms are all Sesshoumaru's names.
And yet, people call it a good thing. Penis.

Are you the guy who made the sampler called "firstsampler" and starts off saying "Ben's first sampler may 05" and the song is everlong by foo fighters?
:D yeah that was me, why do you ask?

thats well confusing, it would be a lot simpler to call a slanted gainer switch a gainer switch, rather than giving it a completely new name.

im with you on this one. Overcomplication ftl
its like i was talking to jay about the 1 handed slanted bhs people do from sweeps etc, ive heard people use 3+ different names for them, and none of them actually tell you anything about the trick! Why bother...

I have nothing against anyone here, but tricks aren't supposed to have super duper anime names like "shaolin cross" and (I know it's street fighter) "sprial knuckle".
It just adds such a cheesiness to tricking. :eh:

Shoalin Cross occurs here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ttNkPnu29Y) at 01:07. This is also referred to as the SF Kick [Mogwai].
As for the Flik-Flak...it is like a Gainer Triple Flash, but it is executed sideways [like a Corkscrew-round without the twist]. Alot of people are upset because the "flick-flack" is synonymous with the term BHS. Not realizing that in the United States [where Sesshoumaru currently lives], the term "flip-flop" is synonymous with BHS. What is amazing is that we all are willing to raise hell over a term we never use ["flick-flack" for BHS]. It may be true that "flick-flack" is a BHS in gymnastics [for certain countries], but guess what...we're not doing gymnastics, we are doing MAT. When we want to express doing a BHS we all seem to type out "BHS" [not flick-flack], so what's the real problem?

He got a temp ban for not using caps lock in that pro's TT thread haha.
ahahaha I love that thread <3
I personally don't really care too much what tricks get called. If the name sticks, the name sticks. We've got shit like "fei long" and "valdez" and "au batido"... video game inspired names can be cheesy but it lends tricking a kind of geeky twist
meh, each to his own.

Granted I'm a little new at this, but aren't names kind of important? I mean, if it's how we communicate...And unless I'm mistaken, Sessh is the only guy who's really tried to come up with a uniform way of naming all that shit. I agree though, a few of them are a bit on the cheesy side...I'd be kinda of curious to know how he comes up with them.

No, IUPAC is a uniform way of naming things. The way he does it is whatever name fits and sounds cool (to him) at the same time. I think though as one of the few who can do all the tricks we're talking about he does have some right to name then.

No, you are mistaken. Look at all the "which tricks are these names?"-threads, and compare the amount of Sessh-induced names to the normal ones. He's in a pretty steep lead.
I mean, flik-flak has been a backhandspring in gymnastics for years, and now it's ... I dunno wtf it is... a gainer switch? Something like that?
