That, and it just looks ugly when you're all hunched over. Keep your arms and legs tight and straight, and keep your shoulders back. One of the main problems with tricks looking like crap is posture. And - building on what he said - you will want to go the same distance vertical as you do horizontal, push out at 45 degrees and it will be much sexier.
