ok, I just recently started tricking. I already have a few tricks, but the thing is, I'm left footed. And for some reason I started tricking on my wrong side. But before I noticed, I had already learned, btwist, aerial, dleg and some other kicks. But when I perform tricks like, corks, cheat gainers, and 540's on my tramp from my other side, It's seems like it's easier to perform. My question is, do you think it's worth starting fresh on my other side? Or should I continue on my wrong side. I got to say though, tricking on my wrong side has advantages, but I think in the long run it's going to hold me back.

if you've already got your bad side somewhat good then it might be good to stay with it, on the other hand you could switch and have two sides to trick on.

easy, you kan aerial etc on one side, thats kool dont change! just pick and choose wat side to do your other tricks on depending on how it feels for you!

it will prolly make things easier later on for building up combos and the sort!

Nah, drill both sides, it`ll give you a better understanding of the tricks + you`ll become a combo master.

Actually, you can have a pretty good understanding of tricks just by looking at how they work on one side haha. Learning it on your other side just forces you to do that.
And most combos I see are uni-directional anyways, if they do go ambi they usually have to stop pause and then go the other way, which looks blaah mostly. If all of your tricks are on the same side you can combo all of them together, the problem is most people just learn some on one side and some on the other haha.

Ambidexterity isn't essential, it's more extracurricular. It can help you come to a good understanding if you don't already. But for the most part, it helps you just look freakin sweet! Like Dan Perez! Ambi double corks! YEA!

nononono I think you took me wrong.

He said that he learned on his bad side, and that he found things easier to do on the other side, so I said learn on both sides then.

And this is from my own personal experiences, but focusing on learning a trick on my bad side makes me have to study how I do a trick efficiently on my good side so that I can apply it on2 my other side, of course studying the look of tricks in samps etc...work aswell.

I don`t think it`s essencial to learn a trick on both sides, but I think it`s worth wile and good practice in tricking anyway.

I`m seriously too tired to write a post that actually describes what I`m thinking in my head haha, I`ve no idea why I`m so tired tonight :dead:

But yeah lol, I just like tricking on both sides, it`s fun anyway lol, + I basically have been forced too :ouch:

But soon I`ll have double corks on my left, and double gainerfulls on my right ahahaha, in time tho, in time...
