I know that nearly everyone in the tricking scene doesn’t like the idea of ppl tricking for profit, but I have recently been offered sponsorship for me and my team, they want to buy us shoes and cloths and stuff and have set us up a gig as part of a charity event. I have for now agreed, but I would like to know what u guys think of this.

Do it man!

theres nothing wrong for getting paid for doing what you love, as long as you arent trying to promote whoever it is you're being sponsored by saying that their products give you the ability to do what you do.

congratulations man, you should be proud that you're getting that level of interest!

Go for it man, and have a good time, nothing wrong with earning money doing what you love. Just don't start doing tricking for the only reason of making money =]

You're living the dream now

Ohh and congratulations! That'd be so sweet. How did they come to sponsor you in the first place? *evil scheme commencing*

Edit: You live in Perth? Whereabouts? I might go and watch.
Edit2: Ohh hey Joel! Hmm I don't think you'll remember me so I won't bother explaining. Have you been to Ying's lately?

I'd love to do that. It's all good, as long as you don't go Eigo.

Yeah totally go for it. Plus you're not really getting paid to trick, more like getting some stuff for working at a charity event. Don't let people tell you you are a sell out, unless you are....

Do it!

It doesn't matter if you're getting paid to trick or if it's charity, do it! There's nothing wrong with it, morally ethically or anything. It's your skills that you've trained for and earned so have the right to use them in whatever way you want.

There's nothing wrong with getting money from tricks, as long as your not an extortioner trying to just get people money with it, in which case it'd be wrong whether it was tricking or something else haha.

Wow that’s a good response, dw I wont go promote Noni Juice. Its 3 months till the show (August the 10th) at the Perth Concert Hall for those who are in Perth. For now no we are not recruiting but it doesn’t have to stop you from trying. Lloydy I was under the impression that you were removed/left TBL? If you guys want to "try out" come to Hyde park in mt. Lawley on Tuesdays from about 6:30pm (yet again for the ppl in Perth) I cant say we will let you join but if u r good enough we might be swayed, if not it will be nice to trick with you anyway.

The way we got the sponsorship we were just doing some 3running around mt. Lawley and guy in a cafe knew what we were doing and loved the sport but he was to old to do it himself, I showed him some Tricking clips from TT (Juji some of this is your cause as well, ROD was the clip I showed him). Turns out he owns a Computing Business that is doing very well and he is well connected he sent down a Manager he knows and he hooked us up with the gig and with the IT guy backing us we are on our way.

Its funny I have learnt a new move every day I have tricked since the news, its got me fucking hyped! Reverse Sideswipes FTW!

p.s. I am actually making a point of telling ppl Eigo is a fraud! I FUCKING HATE THAT GUY!

Congrats! 1 small step towards helping tricksters trick a little more easily.

My gym sponsors me. I'm starting to put a TumbleX logo and wear a tumbleX shirt when I trick at the end of my videos and I never have to pay for sessions ever.

I know why he wants to sponsor us, its because he loves the sport but has left it too late in his life to do it to the extent that he wishes he could, so he is living the life that he wished he could have had through me and my team.

Lloydy come down to Hyde Park and trick with us there as I said b4 its on Tuesday nights from 6:30pm till very late. It wouldnt seem unreasonable to let you rejoin. (we kinda have room for 2 more ppl, but we dont have to have 2, SHOW US WHAT U GOT PERTH!)
