guys i have a confession to make! im screwed up!
i b-kick to my right side and 360 crescent spinning to the right meaning i kick with my right, but my 540 is spinning to the left and kicking with the right....
does this mean i have to either change my b-kick a nd 360 crescent to spin to the left and kick with the left so i can combo all the moves together or do i just keep doing to moves like i am now but never being to make combos look graceful and smooth.

for example
i want to do a b-kick then a 360 crescent to a 540
i would have to pausse after the 360 crescent and spin the opposite direction for 540

dang this sux! help me out piz!

just learn to trick on your opposite side...its not that hard it just takes time and patience.

but im so used to spinning to the right.....damn this is going to take sometime!

so should i have to learn to cartwheel going left hand right too? cuz i usually go right hand left hand.

wow, sum1 else actually has this problem, ive only just realised that i b-twist to my left and kick to my right, so i have to choose one of em to change :agony:

note to every1 else: learn your tricks all spinning in 1 direction when you start off, makes life alot easier

Yes it does. I axe2aerial left, 360 kick left, RO left and twist right. Thats it really annoying lol

this sux because i just got 360 crescent decent and b-kick was high enough for b-twist...but i guess its the sacrifices that shows how much you truly love the (semi) underground sport tricking

Yes.

And concentrate on the side which you have the most moves on; as you get better, string some new moves on the opposite side for more options.

I can 540 tornado, aerial, round-off comfortably, and probably arabian/gainer with both sides as well (have done them a few times, but am not sure if I'm totally fluent).

Twists are a bit harder; my right leg lobs *a lot* when I try to b-twist on the other side. Same for basic b-kick. No problem; just practice, practice, practice.

And prepare some ice, just in case >.>

my advice is to start relearning the other side NOW or else you will be suffering later when your tricks are going in all different directions

This is sound advice. You do not want to have your whole arsenal of tricks being screwed up in directional orientation [like they are now]. At the moment, it seems like you're not comfortable with kicking with your left leg [which could be why you kick your right leg on both the 540 and P360].

The quickest remedy, would be to get familiar with that left leg and eventually learn how to 540 by spinning to the right and kicking with the left foot [after that, all "cheat" tricks you'll learn will spin in a similar way].

The harder road [which will lead to the most benefits], would be to learn everything on both sides [like DPT/Ambitrixterous]. Right now, you seem to have your "cheat" tricks spinning to the left [CCW] and your "pop" & "butterfly" tricks spinning to the right [CW]. Just continue to nurture what feels the most comfortable to you...and when you hit that wall in your progression, tricks that you can only do on one side, learn them on the other.

Sesh, im just wondering can you do any tricks on your other side? or do you know waste ur time on that. im assuming u can aerial cheat 720, 540 and other basics.

ahaha, I'm very similar, if not exactly the same.

I might be exactly the same actually, I didn't read what you read properly

but whatever

I'm like what sessh says, I'm afraid of kicking with my left. I can but it's undeniably weaker than my right. I'm very much a right-leg-kicking-dominant person. I 540 one way, but 360 crescent the other. I have shitty pop720s on both sides, and I can't cheat720 for shit - either way - but I'm negligibly closer going to my right because then I kick with my right leg.

This sucks because if I want to jacknife/hyperhook/boxcutter/any move that hooks like that, it means kicking with my left leg... which is shite.

ambilearning for me

yeah i know exactly how this feels, i have just hit that wall :agony: its really gay and im like what sess said, im very uncomfortable using my right leg. coz i pop and twist to my left and kick to my right, im now trying to switch my kicks to my left. it feels really wierd and uncomfortable, but it also seems to feel easier than when i was going to my right :eh: altho i can't do anything bar tornado's atm lol, i only started working on it yesterday
