Usually a lot of people say this these are easy but not for me ):
I tried doing a gymnast aerial but it turned out like a martial art aerial with a running start and when I would land, I would land on a weird angle and I couldnt stick the landing.I tried to pull my leg in back of me so it would be more like a gymnast aerial but it wasn't working =/

Just keep working it man. Doesn't look to bad. Kick that leg straight back.
Also make sure you are stretching if you want good aerial variations.

Jon P, what do you mean by 'stretching' in the aerial? and how does it help aerial vars?

as for your prob apex- it's not that bad!! but i've got two tips for you:
1. right after the dip you take your torso towards the back, i think that's why it doesn't look exactly like a gymnast aerial. try taping the same aerial from a 90 degrees angle to this one, so you'll see for sure what's the position of your torso in relevance to your legs in mid air. they should all be on the same plane- 90 degrees to the ground.

2. i think the reason you can't land is because your second leg goes towards the back after you landed, and throws you that way. at least that's the way it looks from here... and i think you might be able to pull the first leg a liiiittle bit more under you =]

overall- not a bad aerial!! keep working on it and you'll nail it in seconds!!

Uh, stretching? Ya know, PNF's, static-passives, stuff like that? If you have bad flexibility, your aerials will end up looking rather shitty, what with the bent legs and all.

One thing I can't really make up from this video is how far you are placing your takeoff leg (the blue tablething is in front of it). When I want to toss a powerful aerial, I want to put that takeoff leg and foot far in front of me, and jump 'over it' with all my power.

You're going to have an awesome aerial man, just keep at it!

I have no flexibility at all. I have a problem when stretching. When ever I try to a side split or forward splits my feet get stuck to the floor and I cant go down any more ): I need like..roller skates when I stretch so I can go down more :ogre:

Use socks and a slightly more slippery surface like a wooden floor.
