Tricking with it that long (down mid back) has its unique set of problems. The hair gets caught in the armpits often. Especially on roundoffs, oh how many roundoffs I've had to abort when setting up because it would get caught in the armpits. It's also ridiculously blinding at that length. Finally, I like tricking with wet hair; But when it's that long it's heavy and pulls you around in combos. You almost have to submit to the will of your hair's momentum. For head banging though man... There is nothing like having hair that long and wet when head banging. It's fucking funny.

I don't know. I grew mine out a full 8 inches last year and that took just over a year in itself. Seems like fairly normal growth.

Yeah I got to 8 inches and was going to stop when it was all to my shoulders but gave in finally, and chop chop. I'd say shoulder length is about the max you want it for activities like tricking without it hindering you in some way.

I've been at the same hair length for ages now (for referance: bit longer then juji's april 2005), it just won't grow much further because it keeps breaking off at the split ends. I'm wondering juji, did you cut it a lot (small bits) in between those pictures? I pretty much never cut my hair in my years of growing, but I did cut off a bit a few weeks ago.

Oh and Juji, you almost had Matt Barlow like hair haha, it just had to be a bit longer! :tongue:

my hair grows pretty fast, it grew from my eyebrows to my lower lip in just over a month... i have no idea why :eh:

my hair took about 7 months to grow into a fairly decent afro.4-5 inches non-picked at it's max length.

I let my hair grow for 4 straight years and it wasn't even 1/3 of any of yours. Oh yeah...I forgot I don't have the ability to grow hair fast. Anyways, how the hell did you guys eat? My hair always goes into my food and I just can't eat no more and take a shower.
