i hate it, i practice at a place that looks absolutely perfect, and never any problems with glass or anything, but i was doing some tumbling stuff, and on a run up, i stabbed the side of my foot with a tooth pick, rinsed it out with alchol when i got home, pisses me off
i hope the person who had it in there mouth didnt have hepatitsis or something

no shoes for my gymnastics classes, im a lifeguard so i never wear shoes at work,and if im not doing those two things im at home with my shoes off or skimboard or surfing at the beach with no shoes on
my feet are pretty much used to it
but tooth picks suck ass

It's more unusual for people to wear shoes actually, haha. To me the only purpose would be either for concrete (or other hard surface tricking) and for conditioning moves so they're easier without them. I mean they weigh you down and make it harder for some moves. Even light shoes affect you in some way.

yeah that shit sucks! i was practicing cart to fronts and stomped it way to hard in a random spot of jagged gravel. i think i may have bruised my right heel bone.
i mostly trick withought shoes but sometimes with some converse or my nice Feiyus! (god they're ugly, but they kick ass)
