View Full Version : Sideflipses!
Hey can anyone teach me how to do a proper sideflip? I've heard some people say it's off one leg and others say it's punched, what's the correct way?

I like em off one foot more, because you have more control over the move and its easier to land it nicely, especially if doing it from objects.
And it looks better too.
Try which you like more.
Personally Id go for one footed.

The proper way is off of two feet.
It's just that nobody does them that way because trixxors always take the easiest way even if it doesn't look as good haha.

thing is though, that guys technique is pretty good, but he just has INSANE vert and is fucking ripped, so his technique doesnt really matter that much.
What im trying to say is that its not the best idea to try and copy someone who uses more muss than technique.

Pretty nice standing sideflip here at 1:21, he uses a greater arm swing then the other guy.

Dude have you seen Scott? Haha.
Yea I was honestly wondering why Scott was asking for help, dude is a mussed flipping beast so it's like o.O.
Haha the majority of threads I create are me being bored and feeling like stirring things up. I'm actually really surprised this thread didn't turn into 20 pages of "ZOGM ITS OFF ONE LEG"
"NO THATS A BALL AERIAL YOU CUNT"
"NO ITS A SIDEFLIP"
"NO A SIDEFLIP IS OFF TWO FEET, ASSHAT"
"NO IT ISNT"
etc etc etc
but yay thanks for the compliments! You should come trick in Los le Angeles sometime, or if I randomly stumble into Las Vegas I'll seek you out.
