So, I created a few "new" moves. They're not really new though, just variations on old moves. I figured I'd show them here, since it appears I won't ever actually get around to making a sampler.

So, I wanna call what I've been practicing missleg btwists, but they're moreso just btwists from a new setup (I think it's new...)

I just realized that I didn't make any of my plain "missleg" btwists into gifs, so I'll start off with a missleg to missleg combo.

http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i86/gamerchic4/Tricking%20gifs/Missleg-2-Missleg.gif

The second is definitely missleg, but I didn't jump hard enough and crashed.

Now, I tried a btwist round http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i86/gamerchic4/Tricking%20gifs/BTwist-Round.gif but while that one sucked (I have done better) my missleg btwist rounds were better.

Then, I tried some standing shuriken (illusion?) twists, because I've grown to really like my standing btwists.

http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i86/gamerchic4/Tricking%20gifs/3-Standing-Shurikens.gif
(There are three seperate ones in this gif)

Now, how about trying a missleg into it?

Probably my favorite move in all of these. When played backwards, it's a 540! 540 in reverse!

I tried to do kind of a feilong from it, but that didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped.

http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i86/gamerchic4/Tricking%20gifs/Missleg-Shuriken-Round.gif

Then finally I tried using it in some combos. I find a simple hyper 360 to missleg is fun.

http://i70.photobucket.com/albums/i86/gamerchic4/Tricking%20gifs/Combo-Try.gif

I gave up on the second missleg. Also, I find it's much easier to get horizontal during the twist if I have more horizontal momentum during the 360.

Thoughts? Input? I'm not nearly done playing around with this set up and move, I have plenty more combos to try, but I thought the community would enjoy seeing what I've been experimenting with.

Missleg btwists have been done by dozens.

I was talking about the missleg shurikens and rounds...but yeah I know. They're easy, but not often done.

They are not missleg btwists :s

however the first btwist-msl btwist is sick.

EDIT: To clarify before I get some idoit going "bUt DeY aRe TeH siQQ mIsSlEgSS!!!>!"

A missleg btwist is one executed without the backleg touching the ground.

All you have done is hop into a btwist, apart from the exeption i mentioned earlier.

I really fail to see the new parts of those moves. They're ... normal btwists, twistkicks etc...

Alright, that's why I said it's not really a missleg btwist, just a new setup which I am experimenting with.

BUT

The second moves of this

and this

most certainly ARE missleg btwists. However...need to work on getting them more horizontal perhaps...

Plus comme missleg 45 degree angle spin. You gotta work on getting those horizontal. I do really like the idea of a btwist-missleg btwist, though, I look forward to seeing you land it.

It is an aerial twist setup into a btwist.
I have seen all of what you have done before however your btwist msl btwist is cool and pretty uncommon.

Hahaha sadly I used to btwist with that setup. I couldn't get the dip to work so that way it worked for me... however, you definitely don't get as much height... sometimes.

I remember some sampler of this sub-par guy and he did like 2-3 msl btwists in a combo. It looked really sweet :good: you should get them consistent :D

Thanks! I remember that avatar of him doing the hyper 720, I went crazy. That move is still high on my list of ones to learn.

Haha, in fact, I had the idea before he did that. Then when I saw him, I was like, "Drat! Someone beat me to it!" Haha, ah well, not like you can copyright tricks.
