I guess I see that more now, or maybe I just notice it more now because I recognize the tricks.

It's about the best time to be a tricker. =]
Everyone whose everyone loves watching some random person flipping.

On a side note, we should all put clips together and make a TT commercial.

I know that one! He's really shit too. Ironic that McDonalds is using sport to advertise haha.

Haha that'd be awesome! What would we advertise though? Advertise to get people to join TT? :eh:

in the newspaper there was this article about a thing called 'streetstunts' which is basically tricking with no kicks, which had this horrible tricktionary in which they gave the wrong description about just every single move they listed. i still have the article so i can translate it if anyone's interested.
that article sucked so much ass, like basically everything what was in it was false information.

Haha Checkers has a commercial with a guy doing a backflip, Rodney Mullen dose a backflip in one of his skate videos( His Backflip is fucking nice to). Sprite used Chase Armitage for there commercial. So definatly seeing alot more of it. Ipod has had a few guys doing crap well black cartoon dudes and I know sketchers has been doing it for awhile with break dance scenes.

i was talking to my g/f about this last night, in the space of one advert break, i'd see someone do a 540 (cant remember what the advert was) and a r-off flash (halifax advert).

and the advert for the T4 show 'the friday night project' has a load of free running in it.

To be honest, it was always going to be a matter of time.

These people arnt "tRiCkInG" in this adverts.

Theyr simply doing basic acrobatics and stunts to make the advert more appealing.

Its not like someones gonna do boxcutter-double twist, in an advert.

kicks are tricks though matt  (in reference to the guy doing the 540.)

But if that guy was asked what he was doing he would say Martial Arts.

For example, there is a 540 in the transporter two, but its not trixx, its just martial arts.

TKD_Andy

no matt a 540 isnt martial arts haha its a trick

(i am just doing this to wind you up now lolz)

Urgh, whatever, to you maybe.

To the stuntman doing it in the advert, I doubt it.

"omgz i just did a 1337 ttrixxor in thatt adverttt"!!"!"

TKD_Andy
Jun-18-07, 10:27 AM
lol! man i wish people spoke like that in real life...

'I jezt did teh leetust trixx0rz!'

Matt R
Jun-18-07, 10:30 AM
It wasnt really you i was meaning anyway, you specified it was just single things you saw, ie 540 and ro flash.

Its people going "omgz i jeust saw teh trixxorz in teh advertztt"

When all it was was someone doing a backflip. This annoys me ha.
Because this then leads to

"OMGZ TRIXXXING IS GETTINGZ BIGGGG, WHEN WILL IT BE ON XGAMEZZZZZ?!?!?!?"

haha yeah its pretty funny when people get overhyped about it.
