I've always wanted to battle Alexx since we met around a year ago. Now finally I got the chance.

Here were the Stipulations:
Grass for as much as weather and such permits.

Kick

Bkick or variation

Combo under 6 hits

A showcase of Flexibility (static or Dynamic)

And an unusual or new trick (Attempt, doesn't need to be landed)

After a few replies, I'll post my opinion on the whole thing.

Alexx is going to own you hard towels.

I think you should have a flip and freestyle (one clip of choice) category also.

As a pre battle vote, I think I'll be voting alexx, but towels has some real nice moves these days! so its not an easy choice

My ankle pretty much won't allow me to do many flips on grass. Roundoffs even hurt on plyo. The vid is uploading now.

that was closer than I had expected however the win still goes to alexx for me.
towels, you beat alex of flexability and rodeo however think alexx had the edge on everything else. the sidekick missleg btwist was ace.The bkick round was pretty even imo.

Very very close, as andy said, Towels won on the rodeo and the flexibility, but alexx won on everything else, the butterfly kick round was very interesting, you had beautiful leg extension on it towels whereas alexx got more height.

Alexx won, but still, a lovely battle.

(E.g a sloppy cheat 1080 twist should win over a clean as hell cheat 720 twist)

Too bad, it's the truth. I'm quite confident you've said much worse in other places. I don't care what it seems like, the fact is I'm being honest.

And it's a tough match-up. Lord knows who to decide, Towels has gotten to the non-crappy point and Alexx threw moves that Towels could contend with.

Why do we have to have these battles! We don't need to contend we only need to cooperate.

Rodeo: Towels Higher and whatnot, though alexx barely moved into it.
Combo: Alexx. But Damn Towels, I didn't know you could combo, or kick. If you had cleaned up those final kicks it would be closer.

You have improved vastly towels, you are trying kick combos and trying to be original, they may not be that clean atm but it is a definate foundation to build upon.

A Raiz kick is cool, but Towels, I think you could've used something harder for the battle =P
BKick: Tie
I actually liked both. I think that Towels' arms are a bit sloppy, but I still liked his Bkick.

Rodeo: Towels
Alex ALMOST had a full rodeo. He should've used a running start to get more momentum and get higher =P
Flexibility: Towels
Not to be mean or anything, but Alex's didn't reallly show me much flexibility.

Ohh towels haha.

I actually liked this, the main thing which tipped the scales into Alexx's favour was he a bit cleaner in his moves. So I give it to him.

Mean while, Im liking your avatar towels, you got a nice b-twist :) After I practiced double legs, now whenever I try to btwist it turns into a btwist-dleg attempt and I fail miserably :agony: oh and good work on doing the pop 540! Practicing Pop Hyper 540's helped me immensely with my normal 540's :D

I don't get why Alexx is so bad in this.

I'm not going to offer much of an opinion on this apart from Alexx won the rodeo because to me, a rodeo needs to but pumped from tuck to rodeo. So to me when Towlie did was a whip grab.

Also, don't look at the floor when you Bkick Towlie.

i had just been in london all day freerunning and such and had landed double btwists and double leg twists off heights earlier in the day and i was exhausted ! but i wanted to get some footage done and get this ready cos i was inspired !

tim - agreed on pumping a rodeo completely.

i couldnt do any rodeo'd tricks on that grasss.. i tryed rodeo bkick and rodeo 540 but it looked silly.

for the record guys i landed that sidekick missleg btwist in gym the other day =P

also, i thought you said bkick variation ?? and flexibility showcase i thought we had to incorporate that into a trick =( haha oh well, nice stuff though man, your going for innovation which is awesome ! i'll challenge you to a rematch in a few weeks =)

I did say bkick variation, but I just did a bkick and you did a bkick front walkover type, so I just simplified it for the audience.
