View Full Version : Ok, ankle injury

My ankles are relatively screwed to put it lightly. There is pain on impact, and the pain is... ok, if you use the bone of your ankle, on the outside, and move about an inch towards the instep of your foot, thats where the pain is. Best advice ive been given so far is to stay off them, and do not trick. So im actually doing that lol. But, im asking now. What sorts of tricks can i do that are LOW impact on ankles? i was thinking stuff like aerials. Advice here would be incredible, and any ideas of whats wrong with my ankles would be very appreciated.

If your ankles hurt a lot, then take a break from trixx0rz. Soak your ankles in epsom, lift weights, drill basic kicks, and return to trixx0rz as a beast after your ankles don't hurt anymore. that's what I would do. :)

Soak them in Epsom? Interesting... can i ask why??

Actually, dude. Soak them in Ice-Water. I had a ankle injury during Track season and everyday after track I would soak them in ice-cold water. It helped so much. Took down swelling and pain. If possible, rap a bag of ice around your ankle as-well.

when my ankles are sore that's what I always do:

When magnesium sulfate(epsom salt) is absorbed through the skin, such as in a bath, it draws toxins from the body, sedates the nervous system, reduces swelling, relaxes muscles, is a natural emollient, exfoliator, and much more.

simple terms: soak your ankles in epsom to reduce swelling and help them heal.

I injured my ankle today.
Nothing serious but it hurts,and its annoying.
Furthermore, i probably wont be able to practice btucks tommorow
grrrrrrrrr.....the anger!!!!!

Alright... ill try the soaking. Hell it cant hurt it lol. At this point, it actually does hurt to even jump. like if i jump to do a frontflip into a pool, the jump itself hurts.

Too late :D

I was doing btucks yesterday evening, and it was pretty much ok.
Ankle was a bit sore in the morning .....but its ok now
Its a weekend so Ill have time to rest ;)
