Either these

Or puzzlemats

Anywhere in the UK and/or Europe? In Finland those are freaking expensive, so I was thinking about ordering from overseas.

The first picture has mats made by Zebra (http://www.zebramats.com/), which are expensive as hell.

Puzzle mats are less expensive, and I think they have some on the site as well.

Yeah, but the puzzlies from Zebra are expensive as well (are they?), plus the shop is located in the US.

puzzle mats are usually pretty cheap and go for about 20 bucks a mat. If your going to use them just to trick on , go for it.

20 bucks for a squaremeter, and I'd think you would need at least some nine squaremeters to trick effectively (a 3*3m area), totals up to 20*9 = 180 £ or so (over 200€). I don't really consider that 'cheap' when I have to pay for it myself

I meant cheap as in cheaper than most mats. Your going to have to spend a pretty penny for a decent size area.

Have you looked at your local sporting goods stores? I found one in my area that sold them. They weren't any name brand MA marketed flooring, but they we're 3/4 inch foam puzzle mats...so same thing. I waited for them to have a sale and got 12 mats for 70 dollars. I don't think they get any cheaper than that. And even then, I feel like I need at least another 12 to make a good enough sized tricking area. The only other cheap option I can think of is to go around to MA schools and see if the instructors can get you a deal, or sell you their old ones.

Haha, that would be a nice price indeed. The problem is, there really aren't any good stores for that kind of stuff anywhere near me. I figure there has to be some stored in teh in-ter-nez that ship within Europe and for a decent price. The best I found was 20£ for a squaremeter (adds up to 180£(=~200€) for 9m2). 12 mats like that for 70 dollars would seriously kick some ass.

Yeah, it is pretty sweet. What I found when I was looking is that as soon as they are marketed as MA mats the price doubles. Searching for generic foam flooring and then closely comparing to make sure they are the same thickness that you need will save you some money.

Now that's a nice tip! :good: I think I oughtta go thru the general garage/whatnot equipment stores just in case, though I doubt I'll find anything. Nevertheless, I will do it today!

Oh and Mady, mind checking the 540 thread?
