OMG
I'm curious: does David still train in the Natural Method with no artificial weights (like in a gym) and I red a few months ago something Jerome wrote about Foucan: something to not beeing respected by original traceurs because his muscles are not natural (something along these lines) so did he train with weights?
I presume it's related to the Natural Method that David's father showed to all his son's friends. Hebertiste can clear this up but I know in the NM you train with your own body weight and natural weights (trees/rocks) *that man came into contact during his evolution and so he is genetically gifted to handle them* (my own presumtions based on other disciplines I know). It's also a more facile way of training that doesn't require alot of mental proceses (not so many as in climbing a tree or makeing sd precision at heights).
I would weight train if I though I reached my peak in body weight exercices (wich is far from now) so it's a natural proces - "Nature never lies" - Eminescu.

I mean seriously, how can lifting 'natural weights' like trees and rocks possibly be better than lifting weights in a gym?

Odd object lifting does have some benefits over lifting in the gym. The differences are pretty minor though, so unless you're specifically training for odd object lifting, for example for a strongman competition, I doubt there'd be any significant difference.
Oh, and trees and rocks are free.

Haha! I am evil by utilizing iron! Feel my steel cold wrath! Mwaha!
Rianu's workout is actually not as despicable as that as he at least uses weighted clothing
I could more or less design a Rianu-like workout routine, but it would require some gymnastics equipment and a backpack and stuff to fill it with.

I don't get it, the penis variations were saved but not the R-program...

Rianu was never a bodyweight idiot like Matt Furey. He prefers bodyweight movements and that's totally fine. He recognized that adding weight with a vest was a good idea.
You have to realize a lot of the stuff he was adding a vest for was a bunch of badass ring training stuff and I think he also did single-limb things.
why is everyone here such a rianu fanboy?
has anyone seen his strength sampler? its not that impressive. here it is if you are curious http://youtube.com/watch?v=qHVHo8Y3wYU
pretty much anyone who was a gymnast for a few years and wasnt terrible could do any of that that.
The only things in that video that stood out to me were semi-decent planche pushups, iron cross, japanese handstand, and v-sit press to handstand, but most of these are mediocre skills for a gymnast of his training.
most of the "badass ring training stuff" he does was spotted, and he bullshitted a lot on what he could really do. the main reason he made such a big deal about strength training was because he fucked up his ankle so he had to switch gears in his training for a few months
if you are really into bodyweight strength/gymnastics conditioning here are a few good sites to visit:

and here are a couple strong people worth checking out:
dominic lacasse http://youtube.com/watch?v=LcvxNXbAn7s
bboy kujo http://youtube.com/watch?v=dMwS3E06Zc0
and this ridiculous pushup guy http://youtube.com/watch?v=dD1iVMHNvrc

Dominic Lacasse is one of my favourites when it comes to people with amazing BW skills. I mean, one handed handstand pushups?
at one point rianu told me he could do a one arm planche
i asked him if he had any video of his one arm planche and he said his camera is broken. of course
he was a big of a wanker who was ego tripping. he also said he had a 34 inch vertical

So baron where's the vid of your own-arm planche? Rianu's cool, he's a gymnast, no one's saying he's the best in the world, but he's definately got some decent BW strength ratios.
He's also better than Matt Furey, which was all I was saying.
touche, i have no one arm planche
neither does rianu
i am just saying that rianu is overrated

Who's rating him? The guy collects cool exercises, many of which he's demonstrated, and does weighted vest stuff on the rings. Having a spotter when you do an iron cross wearing 50lbs for the first time is just SMART.
I have a 34 inch vertical, ha ha. Rianu also said at some point that he could bench press 405 pounds or something, even though he was like 150 pounds.
I think you might be thinking of his supposed squat, Steve. He added in his BW when reporting that #, which, to my memory, was in the 500-600s.

Remember that time when Rianu claimed he could lift a small car above his head?
What a fag.

STFU, Rianu is god. He did 1000 pushups once, and he's wickid(sic) strong.
turns out he has been training hard and he can now do a one arm maltese over fire
with an elephant on his back
and i heard this from the legendary tony g
Rianu did an iron cross with one hand
