They saw "our" Gainer-flash [Folha Secca], and saw it as an easier means of doing a "gymnastic" Gainer/Exploder. However, they could never get it fucking right...then they spam "Cheat Gainer" tutorials all over the net.

Basically Sessh's is a gainer quarter turn hook, a "cheat" gainer is a slanted gainer. You don't actually invert all the way

Why don't people just learn a gainer first? The first setup I learnt to gainer with was a plain old straight gainer setup and it still serves me well. I find when I use a j-step I accidentally do a 'slant gainer' if I don't concentrate enough.

my progression was - backflip, straight tucked gainer, then i modified it and got a gainer flash. only recently started trying pivoted setup. if i try a slant gainer i do a bkick. i'll say slanted gainer is harder, to me.
