Well, a person with a lot of flexibility gains muscles easier? Does it make sense?
Thanks.

it helps circulation and increased technique through a full range of motion = less cramps and unnecessary strains/sprains
Yes, it helps, but too much flexibility can hamper strength.

If your ROM is greater in some exercises then yes. If the flexibility doesen't effect the exercise itself (most lifts aren't demanding on flexibility) then no, not really.

Conversely, however, strength can help develop flexibility more quickly.

I've never understood that, if the muscle is stronger, wouldn't the stretch reflex contract harder and keep you from stretching out as much as if the muscle was weaker?

No, when the integrity of the muscle is stronger the body has less need to activate a stretch reflex to keep the muscle from tearing under a deep stretch.

increased range of motion, easier to do hard movements like deep squatts etc.
so yes, indirectly. also prevents injury, and injuries slow down progress.
