look at the axis on which your spinning, your slowly putting your feet higher and your heads starting to point at the ground by the time you land, thus preventing you from landing it. fix that and you got it.

Turn towards the direction you're going. Swing your leg more towards that way. Don't keep looking forwards the whole time, try looking back a little (without leaning your back backwards).

on that last one where you almost landed it. you opened up too early, as in you started to land too early. stay wrapped in a little longer and you should be fine.

strider-hajime, how is your favorite trick a boxcutter when u cant land regular corks?

Also i think you are doing an old-school cork... Can you do moon kicks? try just doing a moon kick but twisting at the peak.

Wow, you got a real nice looking cork there. you just needa land it. Try to tilt more diagonally into the air, as in, when you run into the j-step, swing your legs high up and and hard so that it goes a bit higher than head lvl. by doing this, your legs should swing up and diagonal hard enough until eventually , it follows a path where, the left leg swings straight back towards the ground in time for you to land it properly. Thats how I usually do my corks.
Or, it could jsut be that you aren't pulling your left leg down hard enough. Not sure about this statement I've made but it resulted from aerials cause some ppl can't land em cause they don't realize that they aren't pulling there legs down to land it. They can't expect to just jump up and somehow, spin around in time to land.
Btw, hope your corks become smokin hawt!

Try and land on two feet instead of sticking out one ?

hmmm, you're j-step is a bit sloppy, you're not blocking enough because you're still traveling forward after you've left the ground.

you should of course be traveling upwards or maybe even a bit backwards since it's a backwards move.

your kicking leg NEEDS to go over your shoulder u need to throw your arms and kicking leg as hard as you can in the direction you are spinning.

also try to make your J step a little more Jish. it needs to be more circular.

1) You need a good J-step :eh:
2) Punch your legg like a gainer, look at your shoulder
3) Give an hook like a bkick or illusion twist
4) Beginning the twist

Good luck!

What? I disagree with the majority of those tips, sorry man.

As for the thread-starter, you REALLY want to have a good fulltwist before trying this move.

Fulltwist technique is simple: Keep your arms up after your roundoff, to get upward/backward momentum, leave the ground, twist immediately once you are off the ground. Don't bother "stalling till your peak height", just twist as soon as you are in the air. Same goes for corks, but I would really recommend putting those off till later, you won't regret it.

learn a gainer half, then twist the other half. stop being stupid.

wrong wrong. while you could try to learn a gainerhalf then twist it, its really unneccacary (cant spell). also, you DO NOT NEED A FULLTWIST hahah. the two moves almost arent related hahah. actually, all of adams tips are completly wrong in every way, so ignore him.

remember, its a gainer slant - twist. do a gainerslant and then in the middle twist. it looks like you arent flipping enough. definitly a good start though, keep it up :good:
