I really struggled to understand that post. :|

But from what i got, when you first do boxcutters you dont really spot, but as they get better you can start to spot target

I noticed you have another thread on hyperhooks, but boxcutters and hyperhooks are basically the same thing, so what i say here applies there as well.

The most important thing to having a nice boxcutter is an overrotated cork. You should land on your right leg with your chest facing the way you would be kicking - that is to say, tack on an entire extra 180 degrees rotation.

The kick is initiated just before landing. The problem most people have with boxcutters is that they overthink the hypercork part - causing their right leg to extend early in anticipation of the landing, killing their speed. Then the arms come out to buffer, and that kills rotation even more. Keep your legs together until just before landing when the left leg will chamber, and keep your arms in through the entire rotation, all the way to the end of the trick

Oh, right, and practice roundoff- 1 1/2 hooks. It will get you used to having your chest facing your target.

Jesse man, don't rush it. You just started landing hyper corks on Saturday, and u didn't even really stick those (u landed with u chest really low and your hands down) drill those hyper corks a lot!!

and please when u post use some punctuation. Its really hard to understand when it is just one long run on sentence.

Yes, Jesse I agree with Mike. Dont rush the technique or else you will prob also develop some bad habits. You will get them consistenly, just be patient. Plus, you did them like three times at the gym, work it more and try to understand the trick.
