Try doing a gainerflash and once your inverted, then initiate the twist.

Twisting a bit early on the rise.

Whether I'm good at them or not doesn't affect my ability to give advice.

I could say maybe dont make your steps so wide apart? I usually just keep it nice and short and it helps shoot up as apose to moving through the air.

Steps don't matter.

To get more inverted, tilt your head back. Tada!

turn your jumping foot more back the way you came and try to get your cork to go backwards instead of travelling forwards (e.g. like in straight gainers) watch anis in his doublecork, cork, gainerflash combo. see??? also look over your shoulder... which would tilt your head back like skilz said.

finally!!!! now get your legs in control (together with your feet, hips and shoulders all aligned) during the spin. you can extend your legs to make it easier or bend your legs slightly but what ever you do, don't pike it (double leg it). happiness will ensue.

think up, spin, stop, drop.

edit: the second one is the best.

edit2: don't unwrap your arms until you have landed. this will make you land upright.
