I decided to do the axe2aerial than do a standing aerial.
Why do i always keep crashing into the ground? I try to push and keep my torso upright but i can't seem to go forward.

dude, just keep trying the move, watch the tutorials, there's not much we can tell without a video but i'm guessing you're not jumping/using your arms/swinging your back leg. it's part of tricking to crash anyways so try to get it by yourself insted of making a new thread everytime you crash a new move.

didn't you make an aerial help thread like 2 days ago? dude make your prerequisites perfect before attempting any harder stuff. it's not like once you have learned a move you should immediately move on with the harder stuff. the better your prereqs are, the better your advanced moves will be. in other words, work more on your aerials, practice them from standing etc.

I did make an standing aerial help before, but I think it's best if I could learn how to axe2aerial.

Jomar Beran: Your legs, particularly your "back leg" (the leg you draw back, your non-jumping leg), need to be very fast. If they are not fast enough to aerial from a standstill, then you probably won't be able to axe2aerial. You also need to have a fast "turnover", which is basically just you turning your shoulders so that you face the direction you are aerial-ing.

So i need to do this fast? when do you push? after the axe kick or they both move at the same time?

you try to stall the push for as long as possible. so basically you jump off that leg when your back leg has reached it highest point behind you, for maximum airtime.

Wow thanks. It seems to make a lot of sense, now!
Wait wait wait, let me get this straight, you JUST learned how to aerial, probably can't do it 100% consistant, and you think it's best you learn axe2aerial for what purpose?

I knew how to do an aerial for a YEAR! Of course, it's 100% consistant! I thought i would be ready for other variations with the aerial, and that is the AXE2AERIAL!
