for you guys that are better than me i can backflip quite easily but i would like more hight any tips. i only want more hight so it will help when i do my flash kicks and x-outs atm when i land them im on one my knees

.. For a tucked backflip you get height from stalling the flip, but you can't really do that on a standing x-out/flash kick becouse in those you need to whip your body. I guess power is the only way:eh: I'm not very sure though becouse I cant x-out and my flash kicks pretty much suck:dead:.. someone, please confirm!

you do need the whip but that shouldnt stop you at all from getting higher

for flash kicks work on your flexibility
and for x-outs i belive u tuck for a split second so jump up stall tuck then ex out

don't whip, it doesn't work as good (atleast for me). all it did for me was take away some height. just tuck for a second before doing the x-out, like siphin said. as for flash kicks, flexibilty helps because then, you can lead your flip more so with the actual kick (sort of like jumping up and kicking your foot over and past your head towards the ground making your body follow). this works extremely well for me (but i also do tae kwon do which may be why). hope this helps...
