Hey guys,
recently i have been trying to get more height in my roundoff backtucks, and i want to get them how you go straight up, without going backwards, then tuck, and land, but I just can't go straight up. Any tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks :D

You'd have to block like a god to get it perfectly straight, but thats something you can aim for.

Oh okay, so it's really hard to get them straight up?
what you need to do it set with your arms straight up not opening out from your chest

Pretty much no one goes STRAIGHT up out of a round off. Not something you really need anyway. However, you do need to get some more height.
When you do your round off, try putting your feet farther away from your hands like so:
(first line is arms second is legs)
GOOD::: /\
BAD::: /|
Yeah well that doesn't make much sense but you probably understand. The "BAD" version is more like what you do when you want to do a round off into a BHS.

Ok heres a better idea: watch this and compare the hands to feet distances on the BHS and the double backtucks. The distance is much greater on the double backs which gives him more height.

I have no problem getting them really high in the gym, but Iīm a total loser on gras!!:agony::agony:
My roundoff backtuck isnīt halfe as good as yours on gras... I think it looks really good you just have to block more.
