My "New" Move

Well I'm sure someone has done this at some point whether it's been on tape or not, but I came up with the concept for it back in 2005 (not that I think I was the first to imagine this by any means). Anyway, the move actually appeared in a "primitive" form in my original Bilang sampler. Basically it started as a "loser grab axe." I got the idea from the Terada Grab or Statue of Liberty or Half Twist Axe Flip or whatever you want to call that move, it's all the same. Like Terada's original, mine involved grabbing the leg with both hands and axe-kicking at the end of the rotation. When I tore my ACL I could still do reverse websters without any trouble so naturally I wanted to keep going after the move, but since that would involve landing on the injured leg, it became a "loser SWITCH grab axe." Well I was pretty much eating those up because grabbing with two hands rapes your ability to carry your chest through on a webster switch, so the move again evolved andnow only grabs with the near arm. Anyway, I've been able to do it consistantly now since April (keep in mind I wasn't tricking beyond the realms of my extreme comfort zone from mid June '05 until January '07 and I rarely trained at all). Because the technical term for the technique would be: "Reverse Webster Switch Grab Axe Kick" I took the liberty of dubbing it the "Guillotine" because that's what the switching motion of the axe kick reminds me of. Call it what you like, but if you ever decide to tlak about it, have fun typing the "offical" name out, lol.
