O.k. I know I've posted this vid before but I've finally found out whats wrong with my aerials. I just can't seem to find the rotational movement to pull my legs round and down from when they are over my head.

If anyone could help me with this, its so annoying, I know I could aerial if I could get over this one tiny fault!

Is it possibly because of flexibility? Because people who seem to be really good at aerials, i.e. mindy kelly, have huge amounts of flexibility; and maybe that's why I'm not getting enough momentum because my leg is not going high enough in the take-off.

If anyone could please help me with this, please please PLEASE reply! I'm desperate for this trick!

Also, do you think that maybe its also because on the sut up, I don't go forwards enogh, I just push straight up?

i had 'the' same problem 'at' the beginning when learning forward aerials.
sure, with more flexibility you could compensate the lagging [hip] rotation.
to get the hip thing down, you 'can' learn barani ( minitramp and crashmat ). [it] really helps [your] aerial.
the other way is, [you] could perfekt your cartwheel. really. i mean a jumping cartwheel.
take a longer and faster run up and try [to] jump into [your] cartwheel and have some 'air' bevore putting your hands down.
then learn 'to' put your hands down [so], that your [upper] 'body' is already rotated the 180° [degree], so that your [fingers] are pointing the direction 'you' came from when you plant your 'hands'.
'if' you have that fast and [floaty] 'you' only need to jump even more into it and you have a nice aerial. but it takes some time.
and stretching would not [hurt] you

The other thing I just noticed: I'm doing an aerial where my right leg is giving me lift and I am "jumping" off my left leg. BUT; if you look carefully, it is my right arm which is pushing and giving the momentum upwards, and my left arm which is reaching forwards! Will this affect my aerial ability! Because it seems like I should be doing this the other way round!

the arms movement is not [perfekt] but ok. [and] it will [fix] itself if you once have the 'hip' motion down
