today my friend (who knows nothing about tricking) asked me to do an illusion in a backflip so i tried and this is what came out


p.s. landed on ground too just didnt get it recorded

It kind of looked like an inverted pop 720 fei-long gyro, but I doubt it would be called that seeing as it came out of a round-off.

I don't know what it IS besides awesome. Here's what you're doing:

start like 'pop' corkscrew, while you are facing upwards- instead of 1/2 turn and bringing your left leg down like normal you ILLUSION kick out of it, then swipe over your left leg like a 540 kick, where your momentum has shifted and as it comes around you use that momentum to add a half turn.

I see this as sort of like a full X full, only it's more corkish, with a 3/4 illusion plus kick 1/2. I give it a C. Minus.

(the first full is 3/4, instead of X there's illusion and a swipe over it, instead of last full is 1/2)

Usually I only care for fulltwists to be noncheated but when it comes to advanced kicking variations it's all goood.

Be sure to try it one the ground "as is" before you attempt a "double full version" [on the ground or on the tramp]. It would be a waste of time and human effort if it isn't as feasable as we thought it was :wise:

Yes, lol I used to cheat doublefulls all the time.

You twist before you actually leave the ground. Usually it makes you twist sideways.

But in the same way an inverted cork can be considered a gainerfull, a cheated full can be a full.

edit: i don't want to sound like an ass or anything, that shit you pulled was mad hot. But To me it was just a tweaked full x half. Which you could call Full illusion gyro.

At one of the frames at 02 seconds your neck is under your torso, your head is just looking up.

Slo mo clip will really help us find out what this is.

Your friend asked you to do an illusion in a backflip so you had backflip in your mind. It wasn't just a round off illusion.

So if you want to call it fancy names with tricking terms sure go ahead. But from what i see, and the terms I know. It just looks like a weird stylized full x half.

edit: this isn't a kicking move, this is a round off move. that is my element. That'd be like saying flash kicks are in the same genre as 540 kicks.

Fine then, I challenge you this.

Take a clip of a full x half and put it in slo motion,
then take this new thing and put it in slow motion.

Make them gifs and put them right by eachother.

They should look exactly the same, except the new one is heavy cheated (Meaning he twists before leaving the ground, and he throws the x before he's done with the full twist)
