Anyone got any thoughts on it?
Personally i'm a vegas boy.though some of the new adobe features looked impressive.

I got rid of it cause I needed free up space in my hard drive, so I never really got a chance to experiment with it or compare it to previous versions. I'm quite satisfied with premier pro 2 anyway, so I don't really need to switch over to CS3. I don't really like the new icon either
And out of curiosity, would the fact that I only have 512mb of ram (1gig was suggested during the installation) make a significant difference in performance?

I remember watching a little vid about the the new features that are going to be in Premiere 3, but I can't remember much of it though lol :P
I'm kinda interested in how they dealt with the slow motion though :)... since it was really a pain in the ass to slo-mo in Premiere 2... other then that I don't remember :P...but I'll watch the vid again and post more ^^

I use it, works fine, I just do basic effect though... I downloaded boris FX for it and I used like 4 effects, too way too long to render

its real easy in premier, you get the clip you want slow motioned, press x and drag it to the length you want, then press v to get your normal cursor again
