View Full Version : Gainer switch s/t gainer on a tramp
I really want to land this move!
I have nice and floaty gainer flashes now, and the switching part is easy.
I have problems landing on one foot after a gainer switch, I've only done that once. It seems like I get too much momentum or pressure on the foot.
So if anyone of you who can do this could make a tutorial or help me out.
I could provide with a video, but it isn't going to help much.
Is it just because I have weak legs or something?
its probably not cos you have weak legs aha.
can you do multiple backflips?
for your gainer switch, just practice landing on one leg, reaching down with that leg. for swinging through, try landing upright, with your swinging leg behind you.
Yeah, I can do multiple backflips, but I sure hate them.
I think the most multiplied backflips I've done is 5.
I tried gainer switch today, but ended up fucking my leg.
It's better now, maybe I'll go out and try more.

You'd be surprised. Ben is correct, swinging through on this move or any other is the same, it's posture, balance, weight distribution and momentum that will create an effective swingthrough.
Just remember tha a swingthrough on the trampoline will have a slight delay while you sink into the tramp (because it's a trampoline) so it will be just a little bit different from doing it on the ground but all the rest is the same!
I think I'm close to getting it now.
I did some gainer to backflips today (those really helped me.)
And tried backflip s/t gainer a few times, but since I can't use my left leg to gainer (it got fucked up yesterday, hurts when I stand on my toes), I have to use my right leg instead.
It's a bit hard but I can land on it from a backflip and swingthrough and land on my back.
Next step is to just try to flip.
Once I've got that down, I'm sure gainer s/t gainer won't be a problem.
Maybe I'll wait for my good foot to heal, because it feels kind of awkward using my right leg.
