Public Tricking Problems...

Hello, I'm new to the forums, but not new to the site. My name is Joe, and I try to take my tricking any where I go... The only problem with this, is that any where I go (with the exception of the beach) cops will hound on me and kick me out of the areas that I try to flip/trick/parkour (whatever you wish to label what I do in random areas). I've been kicked out of the malls in my area, out of Wal-Marts, out of parking lots, and have even threatened to be arrested at a public park for doing my tricks... Any one have any advice?

two years ago i was doing parkour in front of some big shop, building. and i was driven away by the guards.
few months ago i was tricking in front of that shop again, and then the guards came out and starter chitchat bout MA stuff wit me. =P fuk parkour.

The parking lot is all the better for me, albeit it being concrete. I'm good enough to where I can do anything I can do at the park on concrete knowing I won't get hurt. If anything, the concrete is better because it won't move like the park I go to... Oh, by the way, I can only go to the gym (an open gym only one day a week) on Fridays.

The school closest to me will get me a fine for trespassing, the school is a real bitch about people using their campus for anything. I used to get threatened with ISS and OSS for flipping during school.

It's hard to do that here, they have nothing else to do but chase people like me away from my fun. They'll call in like... Eight other cops to help catch me if I were to run.

lol, take legal action! ! They can't kick you out of a public park due to endagerment of yourself, go to a huge city in florida and trick.

As much as I'd like to say they can't, a friend of mine managed to get arrested for it... But I figure if I do, I will take some heavy legal action against the cops. Courts and lawyers and money everywhere!

I live in the country I don't have that problem all though I occasionally have to check for deers, coyotys, foxes... my neighbors cows.
I've tricked inside of target on vacation in the US and some kids mother said I was setting a bad example but never have I had an issue with guards no wait the TO locals we had security so far up are ass it wasnt funny.

haha, i regularly get kicked off my local cricket pitches by the groundsmen, they dont appreciate massive feet imprints all over the fields.

cant say i've ever been 'moved on' by security for tricking anywhere else.

I love the "You're setting a bad example" one... Yes, I am setting a bad example for your kid by showing them that you can have fun anywhere you go and how to have fun outside. I am showing your kid how to not be a lazy encumbrance on society, so naturally, I am a bad example. Those people really do need to be shot.

I agree Frankinstine, something about a bunch of sweaty men in tights ramming each other just doesn't appeal to me. Tricking here is few and far around here, so it still impresses people. Take today for example, I did a simple standing back tuck on a storm drain cap, and it impressed everyone at the job site... Kind of makes you feel good when you know you brought a bit of happiness to the people sweating their asses off.

cause of all the rain this year this has been the first week I was able to trick outside. But the ground is permantly soft. I'd love to trick on one of those new field turf pitches like 50% grass and 50% synthetic.

Today I was kicked out of my usual tricking spot, (school/convent) beside my house. The "security" gaurd is from Malasyia who doesn't care 6 days a week but we still got the nicest kicking out ever by a 70 year old nun

But yeah, I like messing with the public. I would just be like shopping with my sister, and when someone is half looking at me and half not I will do a backtuck, they snap there heads towards and I act like I didn't do anything, then I do it again and act like nothing happened. If they ask me if I did a flip I will just be like "ME?! FLIPS!? are you crazy?."

The only trouble I've had with cops is when they thought I was there to damage stuff. Which happens alot, lol.

Even a standing backflip can wreak untold destruction in a shopping aisle. I suggest you corkscrew into a cereal box stand for maximum effect.

I've yet to see a cop I couldn't outrun...to bad they have this thing that like can make you stop running no matter what even if your far away i think it was called a gun, lol no but seriously just say screw em If they ever try to kick you out of a public park or some public area, you say i pay taxes and tell them they are descriminating agaisnt the tricking community which would fuck em up, then they will leave you alone.

the only reason they are chasing you or trying to kick you out of shopping centre's or parking lots is because, if you do injure yourself you can actually take legal action towards it and get money out of it, and it's their duty to stop it, which is rather fail. altho they don't have the right to remove you from park's etc.

Tricking in public places.. What can they say? You're a danger to society? I'd question their reasons for either trying to stop me or remove me from said places. If they want one to stop doing it inside a market area then that's fine.
