My back keeps getting pains and sore in the lower back area. A month ago, I was practising tricks into a sand pit to work on technique. I guess my body wasn't used to being high up in the air and my back was really sore for a while. It got worse as I practised front flips so I stopped doing tricking activities for a couple of weeks. Every now and then my back gets sore and it prevents me from practising. A couple of days ago, I was exercising and doing a ton of unweighted squats. My back and legs were really sore the next day and they usually are sore in different times of the day. Its on and off pains but it keeps my from tricking because its hard to concentrate from the annoying pain.

that sounds pretty annoying:dead:! I had terrible backproblems once where i counīt even get out of bed for a day. But thats a while ago now. just try doing easy exercices every day to strenghthen your backmuscles.

That happend to me, for me it was because i was spending too much time on the PC without moving around and streching. Try to strech for 10-15 mins after every 1 hour of time sitting at the PC thats what worked for me anyway.

I used to have back problems too. After i started stretching my back, not only did it go away, but my seriously un-flexible back became flexible too :good: .

This might not be the case though. Go check it with a doctor. I would deffo get it seen. I know you hear this all the time, but its for the better.

Hey, me too.

The lower back is a pain to stretch. But stretch it.

Also, try lower back strengthening exercises.

Yes, it hurts at the beginning, but you dont have to stretch it hard. Just light stretches, small by small. And if you do stretch your lower back, take it easy and be careful.

What are some good lower back and general back exercises that don't involve weights that I can do when I get out of bed every morning?

Why does nobody want to use weight? Good lord.

For most of these exercises you can just use any other heavy object as well. Just find something heavy to lift.

How hard is it to improvise with that?

If you don't want to use any heavy object you better improvise yourself some way to generate a contraption such as is featured here:

Or if you're especially desperate:

I have scoliosis, two 18 degree curvatures in the upper back. Once you get that you can complain.
