i have before .......
with someone spotting me
=/
edit: i have landed standing half many times.
well here is my advice do r/o full very comfortably all by yourself this will help you with some fear ( conscious and subconscious), and as you mentioned your not jumping your falling and falling back ^^
also in the second one you can see that your spinning way to early

Izzy had a really good tut on that...you should check it out...He's basically explaining how to evolve it from arabian. So learn arabians first ^^

haha i have a freind who stubbornly refused to r/o full until AFTER he got standing. Obviously ro full was easy once he had it, so you CAN just keep learning standing and make it work. Its just... hard :o

i'm afraid if i try it running without getting it standing first, i will flop and hurt my knee again, or break my neck haha.

i look at the floor 100% of the time once i set. thats the beauty of fulls. u should never be lost. once u jump, create WIDE shoulder seperation, making a giant gaping peephole to look at the floor with before pulling, and once u pull, u should be inverted enuff to "barani" back to the floor. get a trampoline or crash mat, something that wont make u jump BACKwards and drill this all fucking day. i did 1 hour of standing fulls a day for 3 months before doing any twist of any other sort. even back tucks are much scarier are now.
u just look confused in the air. theres no rush, chill take ur time. prepare urself for two flips, then do one flip and one twist. straighten ur body and focus on shoulders, ur arms are pulling u to the ground which is why its coming to meet u there.

oh, and plz dont drop ur arms like terada before on the drop-step. wide arms fine, dandy, but keep one on each side.

you are going really early for the full, the twist is really easy in a standing single full, don't rush it. work standing arabians first and I know you said that Izzi's tutorial confused you, well get smarter cause its gold. but something that he really doesn't say is that you need a huge amount of conditioning to do it, haha a little important.
the thing you have to do is....
....
...
..
PRACTICE!!!
it gets rid of fear and conditions you, of course at the same time work on not rushing the twist, etc. but really just work it for a while and it'll get easier

My latest way to full.
1. Go for a backflip
wait till you get in this horizontal position
2. Now turn, so you can spot the ground.
You can try this first on some mats.
- 1.just jump and fall on your back.
- 2. just jump but spin 180 and fall on your stomach
don't start spoting the ground over your shoulder this might make you arch your back.
then frontflip to invert
you can also practice arabian dive rolls on some mats for this part
3. keep looking to the ground. when you're fully inverted spin other 180 while still lookin at the ground.
4. land
is the painting before 4 is a a dog with 2 more legs XD

that picture is amazing. thank you for that hahaha. i can see where he's spotting the ground xD
Your standing fulls don't look bad, your whipping back and your not very tight but you just have to keep working them. My original standing fulls looked alot worse then that.MAy 20, 2005 Standing Full Tumble Track. (www.divshare.com/download/1877822-e81). And trust me the way i was doing it back then when i threw it on the floor i would crash pretty bad. Listen to BboyAgua though. Thats some good advice. And Dovicka's right, I worked that move a ton, plus I weight lift and condition after almost every practice. So don't sweat it, it comes in time plus your not doing it to bad to begin with. Just stay tight, don't let your feet drag and go up.
