That was an incredibly retarded comment! That man is not trying to show a flashy technique, he's just trying to help out with a traditional martial arts kick, remember not everyone likes jumping hyperspin techniques, there's many people who just like martial arts and the practical use of it, fair n square if u dont like it, but don't say its "pathetic"!
whys he not looking at the target at all :agony:

you do realise he barely left the ground, didn't spot his target, didn't even attempt to maintain a fighting posture and didn't even fully extend his kicking leg haha.... would you honestly say that this guy making a tutorial wasn't pathetic?

OK i might have misunderstood the situation a little bit, I didnt really think about those details about him being a horrific target kicker, my bad! I just thought he said it was pathetic because the kick is really easy to do!

i just think it's silly when people decide to be all judgemental over some negative feedback
if it's "traditional" to be so bad at kicking then screw being traditional haha

All variations of "back kicks" should be "blind" [not able to fully see the target upon contact], because the standard "back kick" is also like that. It's one of the few actually :eh:
i understand the point you were trying to make.
but this video was a poor displayh of the traditional martial arts you were trying to defend.

Why would he want to jump really high? You don't need much air for a 180° rotation & it woul be counterproductive in sparring to leave the ground longer than necessary...

He isn't fighting or sparring.. He's kicking.

stop that nonsense Augenatic-.-
If u kick the bag like he does, then it's for sparring, second if you do such kicks in the air without hitting anything then you can hurt your knee very badly, I'm speaking from my own experiences!

Haha, yeah. But he is doing a flying back kick tutorial, and then, he could get up in the air and do it good! Cause the "sparring flying back kick" is like a poor version of the original! But of course, that's just my opinion.

martial arts at its best.
i never would of thought to jump turn and poke like that. ESPECIALLY in that order, it all makes sense now. i normally try a 180 jump back kick by first sodomizing my mother. looking at this tutorial, that step almost seemed unnecesary. maybe i will land it now!

I kept wondering the same thing. Haha, that was funny. The sounds in that video reminded me of an old military torture method.
I don't know about anyone else, but I learnt in both kickboxing and Taekwon-do to turn my upper body and spot my target first, then kick. Doing a blind kick would be just stupid, as you're pretty much kicking a random spot (in which the target might not even be) while giving him or her a great opportunity to pwn yo ass by kicking you in the nuts or something similar while you're looking away.
Never look away, haha. It's a basic of any martial art.
