You're right, I haven't haha! It's about as good as Chris' jacknife. I still think that Manny Brown's jacknife is the best though.

you cant really compare 'style' with bens techniques because he doesnt throw for style. quickest most efficient way from point A to the target without compromising technique, control, and too much energy. thats a small jist of how he does it. i mean i guess you can say that IS his style. whats amazing tho is that hes a good 2 inches shorter than me yet he kicks so much bigger. right hip, left hip, bam. its hella pretty

MANY trickers are guilty of kicking the first kick with the knee pointing down towards the floor. ill name a couple if you guys want.. youd be surprised. the outter blade edge ends up hitting the target instead of the instep. thats a big no no in my book. n its hella hard to catch that from a frontal view

anyways.. terada threw swipeknives, but even tho his first kicking knee points through his target, not to the floor. and i have seen his upright jackknives.. theyre sweet lol innercrescent n then hook. hella high, clean big lines, n kicks fast as fuck!

yeah your hips probably square up for the 2nd kick where as (if you want to hook) you should kick as that hip side is in front.

What I love about Ben Brown is that he makes the most basic of kicks look really impressive. Powerful and refined, that's kicking perfection. It's a shame he's really not interested in tricking; he could do a lot more if he wanted to.


Devera, Terada, and Brown have ridicxlously well-honed basics.
They have solid foundations, so the small things that may stop a good jacknife from becoming a great one, doesn't really occur as a result of this.

u should think bout train ur own (for those who are practicing that kick)

i mean look at dee..
he can jacknife on both sides...and it looks hella perfect lol...

the reason is easy why they (d,ben,marc c. etc) can jacknife that perfect is ,that they're practicing it every time.
take anis for another example, he's the best swingthru cork, doub. cork guy and why? cause he does it all the time.

true... if you ask me, i would have had my posture better on the 2nd kick, and i would have pointed sooner as well. n its funny my hook kick was smaller than the inner crescent, cuz im definately a spinhook specialist. it all coulda been faster too. alot to fix lol
